General Information

The last election of Councillors for Rockdale City Council was held on Saturday 8 September 2012. Council elections are held on the second Saturday in September every 4 years. Voting is compulsory if you are on the electoral roll.

The Council comprises fifteen Councillors, who are elected for a four year term. The Mayor is elected annually by the Councillors.
