Go4Fun is an established healthy lifestyle program to improve health, fitness, self esteem and confidence in children above their ideal weight. Go4Fun is led by qualified professionals and runs for 10 weeks with one session per week. All sessions run after school and are free of charge to attend. Sessions include fitness games and hands-on activities for kids, demonstrations and tips on healthy eating and a fun supermarket tour for the whole family

Are you interested in learning how to propagate native plants from seed that will be used to restore our local environment? If you are please come along to this relaxed, hands on workshop where you will learn how to propagate a variety of native plant species from seed collected in local bushland. Once they have grown the plants will be used to create native habitat in bushland and backyards including your own! No experience is necessary, just a hat and a willingness to get your hands dirty!

And as our froggy friends are often hard to spot in the 'wild', he will have a few frogs on hand, so you can really get to know these amazing creatures.

Rockdale Wetlands Tour

Information:
Local environmentalist and historian Dr Arthur White will conduct this annual bus tour to 4 wetland sites throughout the City of Rockdale including;
- Eve St Wetland, home of the endangered Green and Golden Bell frog and heritage listed SWOOS
- Landing Lights Wetland, important to various migrating and local birds
- Patmore Swamp, hiding place of indigenous freedom fighter Pemulwuy
- Hawthorne Street Natural Area, listed by the State Government as an Endangered Ecological Community

Please bring water, a hat and sunscreen. The tour includes an approximately 500 metre walk through the Hawthorne Street Natural Area so please wear appropriate walking shoes. The tour is not suitable for children under 8 years of age
