Registration Fees
Council encourages responsible pet ownership, by providing a discounted registration fee for pets that have been desexed. To receive this discount, bring your application form and documentation from your pet's vet (or a Statutory Declaration which states that the animal is desexed/sterile) to Council's Customer Service Centre at 2 Bryant St, Rockdale.
A further discount is provided for desexed pets owned by a pensioner. To receive this discount, bring your application form, your Concession Card and documentation from your pet's vet (or a Statutory Declaration stating that the animal is desexed/sterile) to Council's Customer Service Centre at 2 Bryant St, Rockdale.
If you are a registered breeder you are also eligible for a discount; and if you are the owner of dog which is genuinely trained to alleviate the effects of a disability (that is, an assistance dog or guide dog), your dog's registration is free. Again, bring the appropriate documentation to Council's Customer Service Centre at 2 Bryant St, Rockdale.
Standard registration applications (where no discounts apply, and no documentation is required) may be posted, with the appropriate payment, to Rockdale City Council, PO Box 21, Rockdale, 2216.
