Development Application Forms

Development Applications

Proposed development that does not meet the requirements of Exempt or Complying Development will need to lodge a Development Application (DA). Use the Development Application Lodgement Checklist to ensure that correct information is submitted.

Please Note: from 1 July 2012, Council will require electronic lodgement of all plans and supporting documentation in digital form (as PDF documents contained on a CD or USB flash drive or similar device). The CD/USB will become the property of Council. We have prepared electronic lodgement guidelines to assist applicants. Additional assistance is available by contacting Council's Development Advisory Service on 1300 581 299.


Disclosure of Political Donations

A Disclosure Statement is required for a DA if a reportable political donation or gift is made within 2 years before the submission of the application. After the lodgement of the application, a disclosure statement must be sent to the relevant consent or approval authority within 7 days


Modification of Development Application (S96)

A Section 96 application is required to modify any development consent by Council. Proposed changes must be substantially the same as the original consent as stated under Section 96 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979.


Review of Determination (S82A)

A Section 82A Review application is required for Council to reconsider a decision made in regard to a DA or a Modification of a DA as required under Section 82A of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979. A review must be applied for and determined within the time period specified in the Act.
