Business Waste Collection Service

Rockdale City Council offers a competitive waste collection service to local businesses. Council's commercial waste service is:

• Frequent - our Waste Service trucks travel to all business and commercial organisations on their regular service runs.
• Competitively priced - compared to private services.
• Environmentally friendly - a recycling service is included in Council's commercial waste service. Encouraging clients to separate their general waste and recyclable materials.
• Good for the community - as Council's waste service is monitored, the community benefits too, because truck movements and after hours noise are reduced.

Council's business waste service DOES NOT collect

• Medical waste
• Liquid waste
• Dangerous goods
• Special waste

Council can provide a red-lidded 240-litre Garbage and Organics Recovery bin and a yellow-lidded Recycling bin at a rateable cost of $485 annually. Extra Garbage and Organics Recovery bin and Recycling bin services are available at an additional annual cost to rate paying businesses:

• Extra 240-litre Garbage and Organics Recovery bin and Recycling bin service - $485 annually

Non rate paying business owners are charged per collection per bin:

• 1100-litre Garbage and Organics Recovery bin - $36.17 per collection per bin
  
• 240-litre Garbage and Organics Recovery bin - $8.12 per collection per bin
• Recycling bin - $5.19 per collection per bin
