The NSW Government has set Councils a target to reduce waste by recycling as much as possible. Recycling lessens the impact waste has on our environment.
Place all of your recyclable materials in the bin with the yellow lid. If you live in a house, your recycling is collected fortnightly. Place your recycling bin at the kerb, 30cm away from your Garbage and Organics Recovery Bin with the bin handles facing your home.
If you live in a multi-unit dwelling, place your recycling into one of the yellow-lidded bins in the bin bay, ready for the contractor to pick up.
Bins will be serviced by 6pm on your collection day.
