  • Browse the Legal Study Guides and Case Studies held in the HSC Collection of the Library
  • Browse the Legal Tool Kit. This is a reference collection of plain language books held by the Library to answer everyday questions about the law on topics including drink driving, debt, credit problems and neighbours and the law
  • Hot Topics is a plain language series about recent changes and current debates in the law. All issues are written by legal experts and include case studies and sources of further information. The Library holds a reference and a loan copy of each title
  • Find more information on the NSW State Library's HSC Legal Studies website, including case studies of criminal court cases, media reports, a legal studies blog and a research guide

  • World Book Advanced edition has more than 1.3 million pages of primary source documents - books, documents, selections-fully integrated with the encyclopaedia content. Its research and teaching tools include timelines, citation builder, and saved research. You will need your library card number to log in

VISUAL ARTS

  • The Library holds a number of art books in the lending collection which may be suitable for preparing your case study. It is also possible for you to request books on specific artists via the Interlibrary Loans system
  • Feature articles of contemporary artists can often be found in the arts pages of the Sydney Morning Herald or the Australian.   • The National Gallery of Australia website can also be searched for information on artists and their works
