yourtutor is an online tutoring programme for children and young people from Year 4 to Year 12 as well as TAFE students
If you're a library member you can access the programme at any branch in the library
You can also access it from home by clicking on this icon: 
What is it?
By logging on to the yourtutor website you can ask tutors online about all aspects of your school work. Chatting to the tutor is easy, just like using MSN messenger. There's also a whiteboard to draw on and other cool features, all of them easy to use

When can I log on?
yourtutor is available Monday to Friday throughout the whole year and only takes a summer break around Christmas and New Year. You can log on between 4pm-8pm from home or use the public PCs at your local library at the following times:
Monday - Friday, 4pm to 8pm at Rockdale Library
Monday - Friday, 4pm to 5:45pm at Arncliffe Library, Bexley North Library or Sans Souci Library
Mondays and Wednesdays, 4pm to 5:45pm at Bexley Library
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4pm to 5:45pm at Brighton Library
How do I log on?
If you want to use yourtutor in the library, just ask the staff to help you access it
To use yourtutor from home, click on this icon: 
Once you log on, just follow the steps below to get help from a tutor:
Select your year level
Select the subject you need help in
Select your location (at home or at a branch library)
Click "Connect" and connect to a real online tutor
What are the rules of the online classroom?
- Please bring a question, your assignment or project sheet to the session
- The tutors will help you but they won't simply give you the answer. You can ask the tutor anything you ask your teacher
Does it cost anything?
No, that's the best of it - it's absolutely free if you're a library member. You just need your library card number when you log in
